Job Summary
The Internal Medicine Specialist provides high-quality outpatient medical care for adult patients, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinic staff to ensure safe, efficient, and ethical service delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations, follow-up care, and preventive health services
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results and initiate appropriate management plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulations
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and lifestyle modification
- Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
- Identify patients requiring referral and coordinate care with external facilities when needed
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the clinic
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine
- Valid professional license to practice medicine

- Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient confidentiality

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred
- Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care is an advantage
