Job Summary

The Internal Medicine Specialist provides high-quality outpatient medical care for adult patients, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinic staff to ensure safe, efficient, and ethical service delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations, follow-up care, and preventive health services
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic results and initiate appropriate management plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulations
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and lifestyle modification
• Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
• Identify patients requiring referral and coordinate care with external facilities when needed
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the clinic

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine
• Valid professional license to practice medicine
