About the Job

Job Summary / Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees and assist with hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and provide timely solutions
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and access control
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Install and update antivirus and security software to protect the organization's IT infrastructure
• Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software
• Train employees on IT best practices and ensure IT policy compliance
• Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologies
• Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects

About You

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science and Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role (Entry to Mid-Level, with minimum required experience as applicable)
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and productivity software
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are an advantage
