Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial and accounting operations within the organization. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are looking to start their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in financial record keeping, reporting, and compliance.

The position focuses on ensuring accurate financial documentation, assisting in bookkeeping tasks, and supporting senior finance staff in preparing reports and maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems or ledgers.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic reports.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers).
• Assist in bank reconciliation and cash balance tracking.
• Support budget tracking and expense monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with basic accounting procedures and company policies.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents and explanations.
• Perform other related accounting duties as assigned by senior staff.

About You

Qualification:

• MA/BA Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.

Experience:

• No prior work experience required.
