Job Summary
BSD Design and Management is looking for a motivated Junior Information Systems & IT Officer to support our IT operations and information systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates at the start of their IT career who are eager to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Key Duties
- Provide basic IT support (hardware, software, and network issues)
- Assist in maintaining company information systems and databases
- Support system installation, configuration, and updates
- Troubleshoot common technical problems and escalate when needed
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and system documentation
- Ensure data security and follow IT policies and procedures
- Support users with system usage and basic training
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 0–1 year of experience (internships or academic projects are acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Basic knowledge of programming (PHP, React, Node.js)
- Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
- Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and basic IT tools
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a team
Preferred Qualification
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems or web applications
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience in Network configuration
