Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Logistics Officer to coordinate and oversee day-to-day delivery operations. You will be responsible for:
- Assigning delivery orders to drivers
- Tracking shipments
- Optimizing routes
- Ensuring fast and reliable service
Workplace: Addis Ababa (Hayahulet)
Net Salary: 9,500 ETB
Note: Applicants must live near the main city area.
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Basic computer & communication skills
- Knowledge of Addis Ababa is a strong advantage
Main Duties:
- Assign and coordinate daily deliveries (Motorcycle, Truck & regional)
- Handle Addis Ababa (last-mile) and regional (domestic) deliveries
- Monitor and track drivers’ progress using phone/GPS
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and the warehouse team
- Solve problems quickly (delays, road issues, re-routing)
- Maintain delivery records and report daily logistics activities
- Support overall company operations, including warehousing, dispatch, and transport management
