JOB SUMMARY
Duties and Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of the microbiology section, prepares media, sterilizes equipment, samples finished products, raw materials, excipients, and water for further analysis as per approved written procedure, conducts environmental monitoring tests, and decontaminates used utensils and discards with the highest environmental protection from contamination.
- Under the guidance of microbiology, the Junior Microbiologist shall carry out the following duties:
- Collects and stores samples of raw materials, finished product, stability study product, and water in sterile containers with aseptic precautions according to the sampling SOP until the required test is performed on them.
- Prepares bacteriological culture media and sample containers in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) for use in microbiological tests.
- Performs sterilization of media, glassware, equipment, and utensils
- Carried out environmental monitoring of airborne microbial count, surface analysis, and microbiological hand tests of production rooms and microbiological laboratories.
- In consultation with the microbiology section, receives incoming notice and plans sampling.
- Maintain the working environment's hygiene and cleanliness.
- Follow the laboratory's safety rules and regulations.
- Verification, as well as keeping a record of all laboratory instruments that require regular verification.
- Assists senior analysts with sample preparation for microbiological testing.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology
Work Experience:
- Zero year of work experience, Work experience in food Manufacturing is an advantageous skill
