Junior/Mid-Level Frontend Developer (Next.js, React & TypeScript)

Job Summary

We're looking for a driven and talented Junior to Mid-Level Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. You will be instrumental in building high-performance, responsive web applications and customer-facing interfaces using modern, type-safe frameworks. This role is ideal for a developer who is eager to take ownership of features, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to work across the full development lifecycle, from API integration to rapid feature prototyping.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Core Development: Design, develop, & maintain robust, scalable web applications using Next.js & React.
• Type Safety: Utilize TypeScript across the codebase to ensure code quality, improve maintainability, and reduce runtime errors.
• API Integration: Effectively integrate and consume REST APIs to power frontend features and manage application state.
• SDK Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reusable front-end SDKs and component libraries used across our product suite.
• Rapid Prototyping: Quickly build and iterate on prototypes and MVPs based on product requirements and user feedback.
• Feature Ownership: Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality user interfaces.
• Payment Systems: Work on features directly related to secure user flows, particularly those involving payment system integrations and checkout processes.

Qualification

• Experience Level: 1-3 years of professional experience in Frontend Development (or equivalent portfolio/project experience).
• Primary Stack: Strong proficiency in Next.js and React (including Hooks, state management, and component architecture).
• Type Safety: Proven experience developing applications using TypeScript.
• API & Data: Solid understanding of fetching data from APIs and handling asynchronous operations.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and standard branching/workflow strategies.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Mobile/Cross-Platform: Experience or strong foundational knowledge of Flutter or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.
• Backend Exposure: Familiarity with modern backend frameworks such as Laravel, FastAPI, or Django.
• DevOps/Deployment: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
