About the Job

The Manager for Business Development Division is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving business growth.

The role involves pitching services to new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing contacts, and communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

The position also oversees marketing initiatives and the development of marketing literature within the knowledge industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement business development and sales management strategies
• Identify and contact potential clients to establish relationships and arrange meetings
• Plan and oversee new business development initiatives
• Conduct market assessments to identify new opportunities
• Increase the value of existing customers while attracting new clients
• Represent the organization in conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Develop customized strategies and proposals based on stakeholder needs
• Oversee product/service development status and plan marketing initiatives
• Organize workshops, campaigns, and promotional events
• Design and manage customer loyalty programs
• Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and skills
• Build partnerships with strategic stakeholders for new product/service development
• Track and report on KPIs, business development progress, and performance metrics
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on market insights and revenue trends
• Adjust strategies to meet and exceed business objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

• BA, MBA, or MA in Management, Marketing Management, Economics, or related fields

Experience

• 8/6 years of relevant work experience, depending on qualification level
• At least 3 years in a senior professional position
• Proven experience in business development, sales strategy, or client relationship management
