Marketing Manager

Quadraat Global develops businesses in emerging markets, with a strong focus on impact, sustainable growth, and tangible value creation for all stakeholders. We are based in the Netherlands, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will take full ownership of the marketing function of Quadraat Global. This role is intended for an Ethiopian marketing professional who understands both local realities and international business environments.

Your Role:

• As Marketing Manager, you have end-to-end responsibility for marketing strategy, execution, and performance.
• You operate independently, while working closely with the management team, business developers, and external partners.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing international marketing strategies for Quadraat Global and, where relevant, for external clients
• Translating strategy into clear positioning, messaging, and campaigns across different channels
• Developing and managing our websites, which includes copywriting and SEO optimisation
• Creating and/or coordinating online and offline promotional materials
• Increasing brand visibility and thought leadership through a targeted LinkedIn strategy

Your profile

• Based in Ethiopia
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role
• A relevant educational background in marketing or communications is preferred
• Strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Demonstrated experience with digital marketing and content creation
• A strong sense for language and how to use text to reach target audiences
• Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of outcomes
• Able to manage external partners such as designers and developers
• Experience in an international company or international working environment is an advantage
• Experience with B2B marketing, WordPress, graphic design, and LinkedIn is a strong plus
