Mechanical Technician

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks as per manufacturer's guidelines/specifications to ensure the longevity of the equipment.
• Communicate effectively with management and other maintenance teams regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
• Adopt EWO analysis to diagnose breakdowns to identify whether to replace or repair parts.
• Continually seek to improve standards for both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities by recommending improvements to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Conduct all work activities in line with Unilever safety standards and safe working practices
• Understand and interpret technical plans, specifications, and operating manuals for the equipment.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures, work schedules, and budgets for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and workspaces on daily basis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• National Diploma in General Mechanics
• Previous maintenance experience in Manufacturing Industries
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician
