Job Summary
Mary Joy Ethiopia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities through health, education, and livelihood programs. To enhance engagement with state and non state actors, mobilize local resources, and expand membership to support Mary Joy Ethiopia’s mission of uplifting vulnerable communities through sustainable development, education, and health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase individual and institutional membership.
- Foster relationships with corporate partners to convert unused resources into support for community programs.
- Organize outreach campaigns and events to promote Mary Joy Ethiopia’s work and attract new members.
- Maintain and update the membership database, ensuring accurate records and timely communication.
- Collaborate with program teams to align membership activities with organizational goals.
- Prepare regular reports on membership growth, engagement, and resource mobilization outcomes.
- Represent the organization in forums, meetings, and media engagements to advocate for its mission.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, membership development, fundraising, or community outreach.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Amharic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Passion for social impact and community development.
