Job Summary
The Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with Kairos clinical standards, protocols, and applicable healthcare regulations. The role involves patient care, medication handling, sample collection, documentation, infection prevention, and collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and laboratory staff to ensure efficient and ethical healthcare service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Provide direct nursing care including patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and basic treatment procedures.
- Assist physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic activities.
- Prepare patients for consultations, treatments, and laboratory tests.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring correct dosage and documentation.
Medication & Pharmaceutical Support
- Handle, store, and administer medications in compliance with policies and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and adherence.
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions promptly.
Laboratory & Sample Handling
- Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, or other specimens) following standard procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transfer of samples to the laboratory.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards during all clinical activities.
Documentation & Compliance
- Accurately record patient information, nursing notes, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in line with data protection and ethical standards.
- Follow internal policies, SOPs, and national healthcare regulations.
Patient Education & Communication
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and caregivers.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Support patient satisfaction and quality-of-care initiatives.
Operational & Team Support
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of clinical areas.
- Participate in inventory control of medical supplies and nursing equipment.
- Support quality improvement, audits, and training activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional nursing license from the appropriate regulatory authority.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience (pharmaceutical, clinic, or laboratory setting preferred).
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medication administration, and infection control.
