We are looking for a QA Tester & Technical Support Engineer (combined role, or two hires depending on specialization. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, reliability, and quality of our payment systems, as well as providing top-notch technical support to our merchants and partners. The ideal candidate is sharp, proactive, and highly skilled in both quality assurance and technical support. You will work closely with developers. product teams. and integration partners to identify issues, validate features and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for payment gateway and mobile application features.
- Perform manual and automated testing across APIs, UI, and backend systems.
- Troubleshoot integration issues by analyzing logs, APIs, and (where needed) reviewing code.
- Collaborate with developers to report, track, and resolve bugs.
- Provide technical support to merchants during onboarding. testing, and live operations.
- Monitor service performance and ensure issues are identified and escalated promptly
- Document rest resurs. bug reports. and rechnica sunnor cases
- Build and maintain a knowledge base for recurring technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge and experience of Fin Tech and Payment Systems is a must.
- 3+ years of experience in QA, technical support, or software engineering (preferably in fintech, banking or payment systems)
- Strong understanding of APIs and transaction lifecycles in digital payments.
- Experience with: O API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) O Bug tracking tools (e.g.. JIRA, Trello)
- Databases (SQL/MySQL/Postgres) for troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand code Java, Python, Go or similar.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Nice-to-Have
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
- Experience with test automation tools Selenium. Coress. etc.).
- Prior work experience in regulated industries (e.g. fintech, banking or telecom).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
