Position Overview:
The Sales Officer will manage daily shop sales activities, discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain customer satisfaction. This role involves both inside (shop-based) and outside sales work. Strong communication skills and a passion for sales are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day sales activities inside the shop.
- Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek new sales prospects through cold calling, networking, and outdoor sales.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and understand their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.
- Negotiate deals, handle complaints, and resolve objections.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be female.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or business-related fields.
- Proficiency in English.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and a fast learner.
- Passion for sales.
- Must have a guarantor (የሰው ዋስ) working in a government office, NGO, or reputable private company.
