The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in:

• Advising clients
• Managing transactions
• Supervising junior lawyers

This position is ideal for an ambitious professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality transactional advice to local and international clients.
• Lead and manage client matters with minimal supervision.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Mentor and supervise associates and junior team members.

Qualifications

• LL.B from a recognized university; a Master’s degree (LLM) or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: corporate and commercial law, investment law, or mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong capabilities in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Fluency in English and Amharic.
