The Role
As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in:
- Advising clients
- Managing transactions
- Supervising junior lawyers
This position is ideal for an ambitious professional ready to take on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality transactional advice to local and international clients.
- Lead and manage client matters with minimal supervision.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Mentor and supervise associates and junior team members.
Qualifications
- LL.B from a recognized university; a Master’s degree (LLM) or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: corporate and commercial law, investment law, or mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong capabilities in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Fluency in English and Amharic.
