Sr. Customs Assessor

Job Summary

Safe Zone Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Customs Assessor to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience in customs documentation and clearance. Applicants without previous customs experience are kindly advised not to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process customs documents accurately and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to customs queries and resolve clearance issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely shipments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines and operational targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in customs assessment or clearance is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, documentation, and Ethiopian Customs procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
