Job Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead our design projects and elevate our brand's visual identity across all platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with expert-level design skills, proven project management abilities, and experience mentoring junior team members. This role will be responsible for translating marketing objectives into compelling, high-quality visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Execution (60%)
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of original, high-impact design solutions for both digital (web, social media, email) and print (brochures, packaging, event collateral).
- Take ownership of complex design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring all assets are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Design and produce key visual assets including infographics, presentations, illustrations, digital advertisements, and environmental graphics.
- Ensure absolute brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials, actively updating and enforcing visual style guides.
- Act as the brand guardian, consistently seeking ways to evolve and elevate the company's visual language.
Collaboration & Project Management (25%)
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Sales, to understand project briefs and business objectives.
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with external vendors, printers, and freelancers to ensure flawless production and quality control of final deliverables.
Mentorship & Team Development (15%)
- Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers to help them develop their skills and elevate the team's overall creative output.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new design talent.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design team's processes, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in both digital and print design, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving.
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Familiarity with modern design/prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus.
- Design Fundamentals: Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy, and design principles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management, and the ability to articulate design concepts to non-designers.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate marketing strategy and user experience principles into effective visual solutions.
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics (e.g., After Effects) or video editing.
