Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and progress reports. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating resources and monitoring project performance
- Ensuring risks are managed effectively
- Communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Guiding enterprise architecture efforts
- Managing data governance processes
- Optimizing data management practices
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior team members to support the development and implementation of data governance policies.
- Work with various departments to define and maintain consistent data standards.
- Assist in enforcing data classification policies.
- Provide training on data governance best practices.
- Conduct regular data audits for compliance.
- Collaborate on the development of enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Contribute to IT architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support strategic planning by aligning IT architecture with business goals.
- Gather business requirements and assist in translating them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate the integration of various IT systems.
- Test IT architectures to ensure proper implementation.
- Report on the performance and compliance of IT systems.
- Contribute to continual improvement by identifying optimization opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Collaborate to enforce data retention policies.
- Support the definition and auditing of metadata standards.
- Promote the importance of data governance across the organization.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Education Qualification
BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information System Management, or a related field.
Certifications
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP)
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA)
Work Experience
5 (Five) years of relevant and proven work experience in data management, data governance, or related fields. Experience in leading data governance initiatives and managing teams is highly desirable.
