Sr. Project Management Officer

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Management Officer will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the planning, execution, and governance of strategic and operational projects across the organization. The role ensures compliance with project management standards, coordinates resources, monitors performance, and facilitates effective communication among stakeholders.

Key Duties

Strategic Planning and Governance

• Ensure all projects adhere to established governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Facilitate strategic planning sessions to align project initiatives with business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Project Support and Oversight

• Provide day-to-day project follow-up and support, overseeing the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
• Monitor project performance metrics, budgets, and schedules, identifying and addressing deviations.
• Manage project documentation and reporting, creating a central repository of project information.

Resource and Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and communications.

• Coordinate the allocation of resources (personnel, budget, equipment) across various projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related fields.
• Work experience of 2+ years in IT support, software development, and project management.
• Prior experience as a project management officer.
• A project management certificate is desirable.
