Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and manage site activities for our interior design company in Addis Ababa, especially in the Piassa area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions on-site.
- Verify and check materials delivered to site for quality and quantity compliance.
- Assist in cost control and resource management on site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (CoTM).
- Minimum of 2 years & above proven experience as a Site Engineer in interior design, construction, or related projects.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and finishing works.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in Amharic; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work at different sites across Addis Ababa, especially Piassa.
