Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and manage site activities for our interior design company in Addis Ababa, especially in the Piassa area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions on-site.
• Verify and check materials delivered to site for quality and quantity compliance.
• Assist in cost control and resource management on site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (CoTM).
• Minimum of 2 years & above proven experience as a Site Engineer in interior design, construction, or related projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and finishing works.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Amharic; English proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work at different sites across Addis Ababa, especially Piassa.
