Responsibilities
This is a full-time Site Supervisor role located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors
- Managing site staff
- Monitoring project progress
- Scheduling work
- Handling site logistics
- Solving any on-site issues as they arise
Qualifications
- Education: Civil Engineering
- Experience: 4 years direct experience in site supervision
- Background: Experience in site supervision, project management, and construction management
- Knowledge: Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with site management software and tools
- Location: Ability to work on-site in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Safety Management are a plus
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
