Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for end-user support and maintenance.
- Assist with troubleshooting Windows/Linux/UNIX operating system along with applications.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated IT incidents and service requests.
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests based on priority and service levels.
- Provide basic system administration.
- Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers to escalate and resolve technical problems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
- Provision and set up new IT equipment including servers and network equipment.
- Collaborate on IT projects as assigned.
- Participate in after-hours IT support on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- 0-1/2 years of experience in a system support environment.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Exposure to Linux is (advantageous).
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory)
- skills to engage with non-technical users and stakeholders
- Passion for technology and a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
- Willing to travel if necessary, in supporting and deploying systems.
- Willing to work late night, weekends and holidays up on request
- A people person
