Role Description
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing, directing, and installing all preventive and corrective technical activities within the different locations of Holland Dairy PLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all preventive and corrective technical activities.
- Oversee project management of technical expansions.
- Provide on-the-job training for technical staff and operators.
- Manage wear and spare parts.
- Structure, control, and replenish stock of wear and spare parts.
- Implement SOP & ISO standards.
- Create and follow maintenance plans for machines and utilities.
- Perform failure analyses by identifying root causes.
- Act as the first point of contact with service providers.
- Report on technical conditions and risks in the factory.
- Manage expansion projects with various suppliers.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary.
- Assist in setting up ventilation and refrigeration systems.
- Maintain documentation for a safe working environment.
- Supervise work in progress by third parties.
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other assigned tasks.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a technical management role within the food, beverage, or similar FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and maintenance procedures. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO) and local regulations is essential.
