Job Summary
Mezewir Industrial Solutions Plc. is looking for a dedicated Workshop Technician to support our production and design processes. The ideal candidate should work efficiently with metal and mechanical components, read and interpret production drawings, and meet deadlines in a busy workshop environment.
Number of people required: 2 (Two)
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow production and design drawings accurately.
- Perform general metalworking operations, including cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing components.
- Operate workshop machines and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in prototyping, fabrication, and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines under tight timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and team members about work progress, challenges, and suggestions.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and show responsibility for quality and timeliness.
Qualifications:
- TVET (level II and Level III) certificate in GMF or a diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of metalworking techniques and workshop practices.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production plans.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and able to manage workload under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adjust to new tools, machines, and production methods.
- Experience: 0 - 1 years
