Job Summary:
On behalf of our clients we are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an import and export company, and be proficient in Peachtree and other ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies.
- • Assist in auditing processes and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Support management with budgeting and cost analysis.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and files.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven accounting experience.
- Experience in import & export companies is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Peachtree and familiarity with other ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
