Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our clients import company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, handling import-related accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting books
• Handle import-related transactions, including customs costs, duties, and supplier payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in an import or trading company
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with import documentation and cost accounting is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
