Job Summary
The Accountant will support the Finance Department by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting in daily accounting operations. This is an entry-level role suitable for fresh graduates who are eager to develop their skills in a structured industrial environment.
Qualification:
- BA Degree or Level IV COC in Accounting from a recognized university or TVET college
Experience:
- 0 years of experience
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and observational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, especially in MS Excel and accounting systems
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial statements and trial balances
- Produce monthly and yearly financial reports
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Assist with annual audit preparations
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Support departmental goal-setting processes
- Prepare financial statements and budgets according to schedule
- Handle tax, WHT, and pension-related activities
