Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to invite qualified applicants for the Ethiopian Aviation University in the capacity of Adjunct Professor of Aircraft Communication & Navigation Systems.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
- Relevant certifications in avionics or communication systems are advantageous.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
- Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to communication and navigation system design, testing, or maintenance, is desirable.
Possess expertise in:
- Communication Systems: In-depth knowledge of aircraft communication systems, including VHF, HF, satellite communication, and data link technologies;
- Navigation Systems: Understanding of various navigation systems such as GPS, inertial navigation, radio navigation aids (VOR, NDB), and modern avionics;
- Avionics Integration: Expertise in the integration of communication and navigation systems within the aircraft’s avionics suite;
- Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with ECAA regulations and international standards governing aircraft communication and navigation systems;
- Signal Processing: Knowledge of signal processing techniques relevant to communication and navigation systems.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of the ET working language, English, is mandatory.
