Assistant Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Monitor financial performance and highlight variances

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Support budget preparation and forecasting processes
• Monitor expenses against approved budgets
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions

Tax & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, payroll taxes)
• Assist in preparation and submission of tax reports
• Support internal and external audits

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity
• Review bank reconciliations and financial transactions
• Support payment processing and approval workflows

Internal Controls

• Implement and monitor internal financial controls
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails
• Identify and recommend process improvements

Team Support & Supervision

• Supervise finance staff and review their work
• Provide guidance and training where needed
• Ensure timely completion of daily finance activities

Financial Analysis

• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
• Support decision-making with accurate financial insights

Educational Requirements

• Degree Graduates in Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience
