Summary
On behalf of our client, a well-established law firm with over 20 years of experience handling corporate cases and working with foreign investors, GeezJobs Recruitment Department is seeking an Associate to join their legal team.
Duties And Deliverables:
- Conduct extensive legal research on various legal practice areas and industries
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as legal memos/opinions, contracts, and other documents related to litigation
- Undertake government office engagements to perform client tasks such as company establishment, renewal of licenses and registration, document authentications and other assignments
- Regularly assist other lawyers and take part in internal and external legal updates and publications
- Prepare client engagement documents such as proposals, response for proposals (RFPs), and engagement letters
- Work as part of a team and take an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team
- Effectively communicate with Clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Handle retainers’ accounts
- Attend internal and external meetings
- Engage in any project or assignment of any practice area/industry as assigned by the Law Firm.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) required
- 2–4 years of relevant legal experience
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) and professional certifications are an advantage
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- High level of professionalism and client-handling ability
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
