Job Details

Reporting to: The Project Finance Officer.

Major Duties

• Keep the project cash safely.
• Check and keep all necessary payment documents properly.
• Effect approved payments in the project Woredas and Hawassa town.
• Settle expenses timely.
• Register all daily payments and prepare cash balance and cash statements.
• Stamp all paid documents properly.
• Record and keep a cash book and prepare cash balance.

Required Qualification, Experience, and Skills

Qualification: At least a Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields of study.

Experience: At least two years of experience in related work. Experience in NGOs is an advantage.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Adequate knowledge of safeguarding children, women, adults, and other vulnerable groups in the community.
• Diligent and attentive to details.
• Good command of English and Amharic languages, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Sidama language is an advantage.

Duty station: Hawassa City, with frequent travel to project Woredas.
