Job Details
Reporting to: The Project Finance Officer.
Major Duties
- Keep the project cash safely.
- Check and keep all necessary payment documents properly.
- Effect approved payments in the project Woredas and Hawassa town.
- Settle expenses timely.
- Register all daily payments and prepare cash balance and cash statements.
- Stamp all paid documents properly.
- Record and keep a cash book and prepare cash balance.
Required Qualification, Experience, and Skills
Qualification: At least a Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: At least two years of experience in related work. Experience in NGOs is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Adequate knowledge of safeguarding children, women, adults, and other vulnerable groups in the community.
- Diligent and attentive to details.
- Good command of English and Amharic languages, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Sidama language is an advantage.
Duty station: Hawassa City, with frequent travel to project Woredas.
