CCTV & GPS Officer

Job Purpose: The CCTV & GPS Officer is mainly responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining surveillance and vehicular tracking equipment, viewing both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior, and contacting the relevant authorities when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate all designated closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV Control Room
• Detect and report accidents, incidents, and illegal activities to the relevant authorities
• Identify, track, and locate company units using Global Positioning Software (GPS)
• Maintain accurate records of data recordings and events using incident reporting software
• Monitor buses on roadways, detecting increased speed levels and operational offenses
• Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV Control Room and its facilities
• Submit shift reports detailing all activities and incidents
• Respond to unscheduled delays and incidents by communicating with the Dispatch Desk and Customer Care Representatives
• Prepare and submit daily reports to the relevant supervisor
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

About You

Basic Qualifications & Attributes:

• BA Degree or College Diploma in ICT or related field
• No previous experience required (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Ability to handle diverse challenges and work in demanding environments
• Team player with attention to detail and a result-oriented mindset
• Good communication and analytical skills
