Claims Inspector

Job Description

The Claims Inspector is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and verifying claims related to automotive and mechanical cases. The role ensures accurate assessment of damages, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies and insurance or operational standards. This position is ideal for entry-level professionals who are eager to develop technical inspection and reporting skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, machinery, or mechanical components related to claims.
• Assess damage and determine cause based on technical evaluation.
• Document inspection findings with clear reports and supporting evidence.
• Verify claim accuracy and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Communicate with customers, workshops, or stakeholders during inspection processes.
• Support claim validation and approval processes.
• Ensure proper use of inspection tools and reporting systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections conducted.
• Follow safety and operational guidelines during field inspections.
• Report irregularities or suspicious claims to supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Level IV Diploma with COC in Automotive, Automotive Engineering, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong technical understanding of automotive or mechanical systems.
• Good observation and analytical skills.
• Basic report writing and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in both field and office environments.
