Clinical Program Supervisor - Female Candidates ONLY

Wings of Healing – Ethiopia delivers life-changing clinical programs in women’s health, including POP free surgical, Nutrition, MCH, and Women’s Cancer programs. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Program Supervisor to actively lead and supervise all clinical programs in the field, ensuring quality, adherence to protocols, and strong patient outcomes.

Purpose of the Role

• Supervise and support all clinical projects on the ground
• Conduct frequent field visits to hospitals, health centers, and communities
• Mentor and guide project staff, coordinators, and field teams
• Monitor program implementation, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure high-quality service delivery

Key Responsibilities

1. Field & Project Supervision

• Conduct regular field visits across all clinical program sites
• Ensure projects are implemented according to protocols and timelines
• Observe, mentor, and support field staff in real-time problem-solving
• Monitor patient follow-up, service quality, and program outcomes

2. Clinical Oversight

• Oversee POP surgical, Nutrition, MCH, and Cancer projects
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and reporting procedures
• Collaborate with hospitals, health centers, and community health workers

3. Team Leadership & Capacity Building

• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to project staff, coordinators, and interns
• Foster a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and field excellence
• Conduct on-the-job training for new staff and interns

4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Collect and verify program data from the field
• Prepare timely reports on program implementation and outcomes
• Support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile

• Licensed Medical Doctor with experience in field-based program supervision (strongly preferred)
• The candidate should have proven fundraising experience
• Strong knowledge of potential donors in one or more of the following project areas: maternal and child health, women’s cancer, including cervical cancer, emergency response, pelvic organ prolapse surgical intervention, water and sanitation, and women’s empowerment.
• Strong experience in hands-on clinical project implementation
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
• Able and willing to travel frequently to field sites and work directly with staff and beneficiaries
• Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
