Job Opportunity: Community Development Facilitator I
Condition of employment: One year contract with possibility of extension based on performance and continuity.

Reporting to: Project Officers
Major Duties:
- Facilitate the implementation of the project at grassroots level.
- Work on mobilizing the community and target groups at kebele and village level.
- Serve as bridges between the project and the community.
- Act as focal persons to their respective areas to maintain contact with the community.
- Provide close follow-up and technical support to individual target groups.
- Participate in collection of project performance data for reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Kebele level stakeholders such as administrations, schools, CBOs/FBOs, and Health Posts.
- Engage with women/youth groups.
Required Qualification, Experience, and Skills
Qualification: At least College Diploma in any field of study.
Experience: At least two years of experience in related work. Experience in NGOs is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good community mobilization and facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of the physical and social environment of the project areas/Woredas.
- Good command of Sidam and Amharic Languages both speaking and writing (Knowledge of Sidama Language is mandatory).
- Adequate knowledge and awareness on safeguarding of children, women, adults, and other vulnerable groups of the community.
Duty station: Bilate Zuria and Boricha Woreda with frequent travels to target Kebeles of the Woredas.
