Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic circuits, components, and systems. This often involves using specialized test equipment.
- Testing and Calibration: Performing routine tests and calibrations on electronic equipment to ensure it meets specifications and operates correctly.
- Assembly and Installation: Assembling electronic components and installing complete electronic systems according to schematics and specifications.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conducting scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of electronic equipment.
- Prototyping and Development Support: Assisting engineers in the development of new electronic products by building prototypes and conducting initial tests.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and testing procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that electronic products and systems meet quality standards.
- Reading Schematics and Blueprints: Interpreting complex technical drawings and diagrams to understand electronic circuits and systems.
- Soldering and Desoldering: Skillfully working with various soldering techniques for component replacement and circuit modification.
