Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Summary

BizTech Labs is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Consultants with strong enterprise security deployment skills. The role is responsible for supporting cybersecurity assessments, security architecture design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise security solutions across critical sectors including banking, aviation, telecommunications, and government organizations. The successful candidate will contribute to digital transformation and enterprise cybersecurity initiatives while ensuring the security, compliance, and resilience of organizational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews.
• Design, implement, and deploy enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• Implement and manage enterprise firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), security monitoring tools, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Support implementation of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
• Perform security architecture assessments and provide recommendations for security improvements.
• Support security operations, incident response, threat monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
• Support enterprise cybersecurity transformation and digital security projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to strengthen organizational cybersecurity posture.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity deployment and implementation.
• Practical experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools, technologies, and security operations.
• Experience in designing and implementing security architectures is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity deployment and security architecture.
• Experience with SIEM, Firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Monitoring tools, and Vulnerability Management platforms.
• Knowledge of network security, cloud security, identity and access management, threat detection, incident response, security governance, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
• CompTIA Security+.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
• CompTIA CySA+.
• Vendor security certifications such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions for airports and aviation systems.
• Experience working with banking and financial institutions.
• Experience supporting telecommunications companies.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity solutions for government and critical infrastructure organizations.
