Responsibilities
- Design and manage databases
- Optimize performance & ensure data security
- Collaborate with developers and analysts
- Ensure data integrity and security
Qualification
- 3 or more years of experience as a database engineer, database administrator, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with database security, backup, and recovery best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus.
- Strong SQL & database management skills
- Deep expertise on relational database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL or MS SQL server
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra
