Job Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate care for work-related injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies during assigned shifts.
- Administer first aid, CPR, and basic life support (BLS) when required.
- Coordinate with emergency services for transport of seriously ill or injured employees.
- Maintain readiness of First Aid Station equipment and supplies.
- Monitor employee vital signs and assess symptoms for both occupational and non-occupational illnesses.
- Participate in health screening programs and vaccination drives arranged by the government.
- Promote wellness programs aligned with occupational health objectives.
- Provide first aid & CPR training to workers.
- Document and report incidents and treatment provided as per company and legal protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all treated employees.
- Report incidents, trends, and health statistics to supervisors and EHS personnel.
Qualifications:
- Education: Registered and Licensed Nurse as per local regulations who can present a valid license.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years clinical experience only in Hospitals and Clinics.
- Certifications: Nursing or Public Health or related Degree holder.
- Knowledge: Familiar with occupational hazards, industrial hygiene, and emergency response protocols.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, documentation accuracy, interpersonal communication, and ability to work independently in shifts and weekends.
- Committed to handling stressful work tasks and environments in all directions.
Location: Hawassa Industrial Park, Shed # 5, 6, 7
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Rotating Shifts (Day/Night/Weekend)
