About the Role:
Awach SACCOS' is looking for Volunteer Interns to join various branch locations in Addis Ababa and regional offices. The internship program is designed for fresh graduates who are looking to gain practical work experience and develop their skills in the financial sector, with a particular focus on IT and related fields. Exceptional performance during the internship period may lead to future employment opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, and network issues at branch locations.
- Assist in troubleshooting IT-related problems encountered by staff.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software.
- Assist in the management of database systems and ensure data security and integrity.
- Help with maintaining and updating IT documentation and inventory records.
- Provide support for digital banking systems and mobile applications as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT department and other business units to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build technical and soft skills.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors related to IT and technology support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
- CGPA of 3.5 or above.
- Good Exit Exam results.
- No prior work experience required (0 years' experience).
- Willingness to learn, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
Compensation and Duration
- Duration: 2-3 months (Volunteer Internship)
- Transport Allowance: 2,100 ETB per month
- Number of Positions: 20
- Gender: Open to both male and female candidates
