IT, Digitalization & System Management Officer
About the Organization:
FHE utilizes the JEOP Portal, a robust data management system designed to automate and streamline key processes such as VBT, MBL, payroll generation, and commodity tracking. The system enhances data quality, improves participant tracking, and supports data-driven decision-making. The platform has been piloted and is currently being rolled out across partners.
Job Purpose:
The IT, Digitalization & System Management Officer will oversee the implementation and maintenance of information systems, manage digitalization initiatives, and provide technical support. The role ensures efficient system performance, data quality, and alignment of IT systems with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation and Coordination
- Support the implementation of the JEOP data management system (JEOP Portal).
- Provide feedback and recommendations on data collection tools for monitoring, evaluation, and operations.
- Ensure system accessibility, including tablets and internet connectivity for staff.
- Create user accounts and assign appropriate access permissions.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry aligned with data quality standards.
- Coordinate with IT teams for escalation and resolution of complex issues.
2. Monitoring, Reporting, and Partnership/Networking
- Collaborate with CRS ICT4D and FH IT teams during system implementation.
- Oversee development and maintenance of data governance documents, guidelines, and data dictionaries.
- Maintain communication between stakeholders including CRS, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure proper documentation for device management and digital data collection.
- Provide day-to-day technical support for field staff.
3. Capacity Building
- Plan and facilitate training sessions for staff on system usage and digital tools.
- Collaborate with commodity managers and technical coordinators to enhance staff capacity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital data collection systems, database management, or system rollout.
- Experience in project support within digitalization, especially in INGO environments.
- Experience training field staff and conducting system training sessions.
- Proficiency with tools such as Kobo, CommCare, Power BI, GIS, or similar platforms.
