Job Summary:
IT Officer will assist in maintaining the organization’s IT systems, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network issues).
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in maintaining network systems and internet connectivity.
- Assist in managing company networks, including LAN/WAN and internet connectivity.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Support software installations, updates, and user account management.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
- Ensure data security, backups, and antivirus protection.
- Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures.
- Support users with system access, email configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in maintaining servers, databases, and system performance monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain proper IT records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience in hardware and software maintenance, networking, and technical support is advantageous.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT support tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
