Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management

• Handle daily cash transactions, including petty cash, checks, and credit payments
• Issue official receipts and prepare daily bank deposits

Financial Reporting Support

• Assist senior accountants in monthly and yearly closing processes
• Support preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements
• Assist with tax-related tasks including VAT and withholding tax filings

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain a secure and organized filing system for financial documents, vouchers, and correspondence
• Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation

Technical & Administrative Support

• Use MS Excel for financial tracking and reporting
• Work with accounting software such as Peachtree
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Accounting preferred)
• Zero years of experience required (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree)
