Jr. Warehouse Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound courier shipments in full compliance with customs and bonded warehouse procedures
• Scan all held shipments into Bond, perform inventory scans, and ensure timely customs clearance
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation and complete
• Cleared in Bond and Reconciliation reports
• Maintain strict security protocols: control access to the bonded area, ensure
• Customs Officer presence when required, and wear ID visibly at all times
• Monitor equipment performance, report faults, and keep the processing area clean and organized
• Coordinate with third-party brokers and support daily operations to meet service standards
• Perform slight manual labor (lifting, moving, sorting and loading courier parcels as required)
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the Mail and Courier team

Essential Requirements

• Degree
• Well-groomed with a neat and professional appearance
• Strong written and spoken English
• High accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and remain punctual
• Good interpersonal skills when dealing with team members and government officials
• Computer literacy with ability to work on warehouse systems
• Knowledge of Ethiopian Customs regulations, bonded warehouse operations, and cargo terminal handling experience is an advantage.
• Computer literate and comfortable using scanning/warehouse-management systems
• Valid Ethiopian Driver’s License
• Physically fit for slight manual labor
• Willingness and ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts including public holidays
