Junior Welder

Education

• Level IV and above in General Metal Fabrication, General Mechanics, Machine Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on welding experience, preferably in industrial or construction settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on metal structures, machinery, and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Inspect welded materials for quality, strength, and adherence to safety standards.
• Assist senior welders in complex welding projects and learn advanced techniques.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements during welding operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and safety awareness.
• Teamwork and effective communication skills for coordinating with colleagues and supervisors.
