Job Summary:
The Liaison Officer will be responsible for managing company licensing and ensuring compliance with banks, government offices, and regulatory bodies, including the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all licensing applications, renewals, and permit processes to ensure timely approvals.
- Serve as the primary contact with banks, EIC, and other government agencies for all company matters.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all Ethiopian laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate records and documentation for audits or inspections.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on compliance and licensing activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate company processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in licensing, compliance, or regulatory affairs is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
