About the Job

Position Overview: Marketing and Sales Manager

We are looking for an energetic and strategic Marketing and Sales Manager to expand our market reach and accelerate business growth. This pivotal role combines both marketing and sales leadership, requiring the successful candidate to craft and execute effective marketing plans while directly overseeing sales activities to meet revenue objectives. The ideal applicant will be a proactive leader, skilled in brand development, customer engagement, and navigating the competitive landscape of the food industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute annual marketing and sales plans, including budgeting, to achieve company revenue and profit targets.
  • Continuously analyze the market to uncover new opportunities, monitor industry trends, assess competitor actions, and identify potential product expansions.
  • Establish and communicate the company’s brand positioning and unique selling points for each product category.
  • Deliver regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s brand image, ensuring uniformity across all platforms and materials (packaging, website, trade exhibitions, etc.).
  • Lead the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives and oversee content creation.
  • Organize and coordinate participation in major industry events, trade shows, and B2B advertising campaigns.
  • Design impactful marketing collateral, including product brochures, sales presentations, catalogs, and case studies.
  • Cultivate relationships with food industry media outlets and influencers to secure favorable publicity.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and distribution channels, such as national retail chains, regional distributors, food service providers, and export markets.
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts to ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing deals, and ongoing account management.
  • Develop pricing strategies that optimize profit margins while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track customer interactions, and forecast sales performance.
  • May supervise a small team of sales or marketing staff.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a combined marketing and sales capacity, preferably within the food processing or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record in developing successful marketing strategies and consistently achieving sales goals.
  • Well-established network within the food industry (retail, distribution, food service) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience managing B2B sales cycles and key client accounts.
  • Skilled in digital marketing platforms and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of food industry trends, regulations, and consumer behavior.
