Role Summary
The Motorist & Claims Officer is a hybrid role responsible for supporting the insurance claims process while also providing field mobility and logistical support using a motorbike (RTR or electric motor). The role ensures timely claims follow-up, document delivery, field coordination, and efficient client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and register insurance claims from clients.
- Assist in collecting and verifying required claim documents.
- Follow up with insurance companies on claim status and processing.
- Maintain proper records of claims files and updates.
- Support Claims Officers/Managers in claims analysis and reporting.
- Ensure timely communication with clients regarding claim progress.
- Conduct physical follow-ups with insurers, garages, assessors, and clients.
- Deliver and collect claim documents, policies, and official letters.
- Support site visits, inspections, and claim-related field verification.
- Provide transport support for urgent operational needs.
- Operate company motorbike (RTR or electric motor) safely and efficiently.
- Assist clients in understanding claims procedures and requirements.
- Ensure prompt response to client needs through both office and field engagement.
- Maintain professionalism while representing the company externally.
- Act as a link between clients, insurers, garages, and internal teams.
- Support quick resolution of claim-related bottlenecks through physical follow-up.
- Build working relationships with external service providers.
- Ensure all claim handling activities comply with company policies.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company transport guidelines.
- Maintain the motorbike in good working condition (basic checks and reporting).
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Management, or Any Business related field (preferred).
- Valid driving license for motorbike (mandatory).
- Basic understanding of insurance claims processes (motor, property, etc.).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (insurance or field operations).
- Only Male Applicants.
