Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Odoo developer with deep expertise in Odoo to oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of our ERP solutions. You will collaborate with a team of developers and business analysts and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-performance ERP systems. This role requires strong technical, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Odoo customization, integration, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Team & Project Management
- Collaborate with ERP implementers, stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Oversee data migrations, system upgrades, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of custom Odoo modules, APIs, and integrations.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party tools, plugins, and technologies to enhance Odoo functionality.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the ERP system.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo development.
- Maintain technical documentation (system architecture, module specs, API guides).
Development & Optimization
- Architect and develop advanced Odoo customizations (backend logic, workflows, reports, dashboards).
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries, indexing, and server performance.
- Integrate third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS/email providers, local compliance systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Ensure automated testing (CI/CD) and DevOps best practices (Docker, Git, and Odoo.sh).
About You:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in Odoo development, especially enterprise (v15-v19).
- Advanced-level Python programming and Odoo framework mastery.
- Strong experience in PostgreSQL optimization and database design.
- Experience with front-end Odoo framework (OWL, HTML, XML, CSS, JS).
- Experience in high-availability, multi-tenant ERP deployment.
- Implement REST/XML-RPC and other API protocols for seamless integration with external systems
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes (PoS, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, and Core modules).
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Teamwork with strong communication skills.
