Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer I is responsible for supporting procurement and purchasing activities by ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures. The role assists in achieving efficient and cost-effective procurement operations.
Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Procurement & Supply Management, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of general related work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process procurement requests and purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Collect quotations, evaluate supplier offers, and prepare procurement analysis reports.
- Coordinate purchasing activities and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain supplier and procurement records accurately.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services required by different departments.
- Assist in supplier selection and vendor relationship management.
- Monitor inventory and support stock replenishment activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Prepare procurement reports and related documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong organizational and documentation handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and supplier management.
